Itinerary

Day 1 – Lancaster, PA – MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS

Today, board your Anderson Coach for a trip to Lancaster, PA.  On arrival, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.  Then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by a performance of MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS at Sight & Sound Theatre.  This holiday season, travel back in time to Bethlehem as the original Christmas story unfolds all around you. Journey alongside Mary and Joseph, a flock of surprised shepherds, and three wisemen—along with their camels! There may be no room at the inn, but God has a lowly stable prepared as the angels announce the coming of the Messiah!  Experience MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS as it comes to life on stage with massive sets and live animals in this cherished holiday production. Day 2 – Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market – Kitchen Kettle Village – Depart for Home

This morning, visit The Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market, a favorite destination for locals, as well as out-of-town visitors. It features tons of delicious offerings, including fresh meats, cheese and produce, a wide variety of baked goods, chocolates and candies, bulk foods, spices, coffee and loose-leaf tea, locally made chips and hard pretzels, hand-rolled soft pretzels, fresh-squeezed lemonade, apple cider, made-to-order subs, fried chicken and rows of homemade canned goods.

Then enjoy some free time at Kitchen Kettle Village.  With over 40 specialty shops, restaurants, and plenty of hands-on activities including a self-guided tasting tour in the Jam & Relish Kitchen. Winter at Kitchen Kettle Village is also ideal for exploring the many ways we celebrate the holidays – take in the aromas of freshly baked seasonal treats, wander through our simply decorated Village and pick up a few Christmas gifts along the way. You just might find an unexpected treasure to take home!

Lunch is on your own while at Kitchen Kettle Village. There are two full-size restaurants along with a variety of snack and foodie shops or we can arrange an included group lunch if you wish.

Depart for home this afternoon. (B)
