Itinerary
Today, travel aboard an Anderson Coach to Geneva, OH, located in the heart of Ohio’s Wine Country. Start with a wine tasting at Ferrante Winery. The Ferrante Family has been producing award winning wines since 1937. Enjoy a sample from their selection of signature wines.
Next, enjoy lunch and a wine tasting at Grand Rivers Cellars. The Winery produces quality wines from grapes grown in the Grand River Valley Wine Region. Its Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Grigio all benefit from the care taken in the vineyard to produce a quality Ohio wine.
Then head to Geneva-on-the-Lake where you can shop for fine wines at the Old Firehouse Winery. Here you enjoy a wine tasting and tour plus appetizers. The name, Old Firehouse Winery, summarizes the atmosphere; an eclectic collection of fire paraphernalia and the fact that this was indeed the first Firehouse in Geneva-on-the-Lake. Besides its historic charm, much of the enjoyment in visiting the Old Firehouse is in its setting: The Lake Erie Shoreline.
The last stop of the day is The Winery at Spring Hill, an upscale country winery with a friendly, relaxing, atmosphere. Sample some of their selection of wines from dry to sweet, or handcrafted hard ciders.
Depart for home following your tasting.
