Day 1 – Lancaster, PA – MOSES & Sight & Sound
Arriving in Penn Dutch country this afternoon, your group will check into a comfortable first-class hotel for an overnight stay. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Amish family-style meal at a local restaurant. Following dinner, enjoy a performance of MOSES at Sight & Sound Theatre. (MOSES coming in 2023).
From the banks of the Nile River to the depths of the Red Sea, MOSES is a spectacular entertainment experience for the whole family! Set adrift as a baby, he is an unlikely hero — until God calls him to lead His people out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. Journey with Moses as he ventures through the wilderness, encounters God at the burning bush, and ascends to the top of Mount Sinai. Day 2 – Amish Experience Farmlands Tour – Plain & Fancy Lunch – Jacob’s Choice – Depart for Home
This morning after breakfast, visit the Amish Experience in Bird-in-Hand, for a 90-minute, guided Amish Farmlands Tour. This will take you deep into the heart of the oldest Amish community in the world where you’ll marvel at some of the most beautiful farmland you’ll ever set eyes upon. The certified Amish Country Tours guide answers your questions while calling your attention to the fascinating sights we observe along the way.
Lunch is included today at Plain & Fancy. Following lunch see the film Jacob’s Choice. The film features Jacob’s challenges with faith, tradition, and loved ones in a fast-changing world is a story that touches each of us, young and old, in a poignant and memorable way. “Jacob’s Choice” will leave you with an understanding of what it means to be Amish, and the ties that continue to bind the community together through the centuries
