Itinerary

Day 1 – Lancaster, PA – DANIEL at Sight & Sound

Arriving in Penn Dutch country this afternoon, your group will check into a comfortable first-class hotel for an overnight stay. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Amish family-style meal at a local restaurant.  Following dinner, enjoy a performance of DANIEL, the newest show at Sight & Sound Theatre.

Taken from his people, Daniel is exiled far from home in the powerful kingdom of Babylon. Now this faithful servant must navigate his new life inside a palace filled with golden statues and shifting empires. As royal pressures mount, Daniel is faced with a dangerous choice. Will his trust in the one true God remain steadfast through every test of faith?

From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, DANIEL is a spectacular theatrical experience for the whole family. Witness one of the Bible’s most hope-filled stories as it comes to life in this brand-new original stage production from Sight & Sound Theatres. (D)

Day 2 – Amish Experience Farmlands Tour – Plain & Fancy Lunch – Jacob’s Choice – Depart for Home

This morning after breakfast, visit the Amish Experience in Bird-in-Hand, for a 90-minute, guided Amish Farmlands Tour. This will take you deep into the heart of the oldest Amish community in the world where you’ll marvel at some of the most beautiful farmland you’ll ever set eyes upon. The certified Amish Country Tours guide answers your questions while calling your attention to the fascinating sights we observe along the way.

Lunch is included today at Plain & Fancy. Following lunch see the film Jacob’s Choice. The film features Jacob’s challenges with faith, tradition, and loved ones in a fast-changing world is a story that touches each of us, young and old, in a poignant and memorable way. “Jacob’s Choice” will leave you with an understanding of what it means to be Amish, and the ties that continue to bind the community together through the centuries
