Itinerary

We can create a fabulous day or two in The Big Apple before you set sail for Bermuda if you wish. Museums, Shopping, Theater, History, the Arts – New York City has it all. Just let us know and we can create the perfect cruise-tour for you.

Day 1 – New York City – Board the Norwegian Joy – Arrive in New York City at the pier to board the Norwegian Joy. Trade city life for a slice of paradise aboard the newest ship to sail from New York to Bermuda. Build a towering pink sand castle. Snorkel among a kaleidoscope of marine life. Or play a round on one of the world’s premier golf courses. With three days in Bermuda, you’ll have plenty of time to explore. The ship will set sail at 5:00 p.m.

Day 2 – Day at Sea – Today is a full day spent at sea.  Get ready to chase sunsets on The Waterfront. Get closer to paradise with two quintessential Jimmy Buffett venues: Margaritaville at Sea and the 5 O’clock Somewhere Bar. Sip on some of Napa’s best blends at The cellars, A Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar. Be dazzled by Broadway hits like After Midnight. Discover a new world of Freestyle Cruising on Norwegian Joy.

Day 3 – Day at Sea – Enjoy another full day spent at sea.  Forget to pack something? No worries! The gift shops onboard carry everything you’ll need for fun in the sun. Shop from a variety of souvenirs, cosmetics, clothing, snacks and sundry items. Treat yourself at duty free shops full of fantastic savings on fine jewelry, accessories, perfume, liquor and tobacco. Norwegian Escape is the first at sea to have acclaimed brands LACOSTE and Carolina Herrera. These are the first boutiques to be designed specifically for a Norwegian Cruise Line ship.

Day 4 – Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard – This morning you dock at 8:00am at the tip of Bermuda’s West End, the Royal Naval Dockyard. Home to exceptional shopping and pristine beaches, the beautifully restored Royal Naval Dockyards provide quaint boutiques, a craft market and a fascinating maritime museum. Don’t miss the many water sports offered in and around the gorgeous harbor.

Day 5 – Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard – This is your second full day in Bermuda. Think Pink. Build your first pink sand castle. Explore the colorful underwater life. Or play 18 holes on Riddell’s Bay, Bermuda’s oldest golf course. With so much to do, it’s no wonder that NCL has been voted “Best Bermuda Itineraries” nine years in a row!

Day 6 – Bermuda’s Royal Naval Dockyard – The Joy sails from Bermuda at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon which gives you time for one last Shore Excursion, a little more shopping or a final morning on the beach.

Day 7 – Day at Sea – Enjoy one final day spent at sea.  From top to bottom and from bow to stern, Norwegian Escape has enough onboard activities to fill every minute of your cruise. Think you’re brave? Splash around at Aqua Park with Free Fall – the fastest waterslides at sea. Or visit our multi-level Sports Complex and walk The Plank, which extends 8 feet over the side of the ship. Try your luck at the award-winning Casinos at Sea. With so much excitement, you’ll have to come back for more.

Day 8 – New York City – Depart for Home – This morning arrive back into New York City.  Depart for home.
